EVOS / MTV 
Brand Spot

Challenge
EVOS were launching a range of premium headphones in partnership with MTV. We were tasked with creating their global TVC.

Approach
Our winning concept was developed after months of brand positioning, research into other leading brands and where our new product would sit in the market place. We arrived at ‘Born Backstage’, a sentiment extrapolated from MTV’s rich live music heritage and EVOS origins with master sound engineer, Jerry Harvey.

'Before the crowd roars, before the first note is played, before the spotlights switch on, before all of this happens there is ‘backstage’ - a unique space where the best sound is born. Sounds are checked and double checked, levels are set, the whole audio experience is designed and crafted, ready to blow the audience away. Backstage is where thousands of sound checks and conversations have inspired an incredible new range of personal audio equipment from EVOS & MTV'

Our TVC features a single model with projection-mapped graphics, representing a visceral reaction to a musical experience – in this case delivered by EVOS. The audio bed was developed by Kyle Ross to represent the anticipation from a soundcheck to the moment before the first note of a live performance is struck.
