Malta Treasure Hunt

Challenge
The Maltese Tourism Authority and Nickelodeon partnered to create a week-long activity in Malta, showcasing key attractions in Valletta. This brand-new concept required
full branding development and assets for the launch campaign.

Approach
To launch the campaign ahead of its 2019 debut, we first needed to develop an identity for the event 'Nickelodeon Treasure Hunt – Malta’.

We created a logo and graphic toolkit to feature across all visual communications. We produced a sizzle reel for the press announcement in Malta, featuring Jack and Kira from the Nickelodeon show Thundermans. This film was shot on location in Malta and saw the pair visit each of the key attractions, to create some hype about the island. Motion Graphics were designed to overlay this footage and create co-branded identities for each location.

We also had an opportunity to co-brand an AirMalta Airbus A320, which we did with the simple addition of Nickelodeon characters. This 'Nickelodeon Treasure Hunt – Malta’ branding was then turned into a full style guide and toolkit of assets ahead of the event.
